<p>Hi All,</p><p>This is my (Aron's) first update, a little bit about why i am doing this. We (my family and I) have all been impacted in various ways throughout our lives due to this devastating disease 'Cancer'. I am doing this to raise awareness, remember those we have lost and to raise funds to find a cure. This is specifically for my Grandmother (Ana) who i was never able to meet and my beautiful cousin (Anoula) who i miss dearly and remember the fun times fondly. </p><p></p><p>Please know that their names will be embedded on our car as it is in our hearts as we drive the rally. </p><p></p><p>We would greatly appreciate any donation and in your comment place the name of the person you would like to remember or a person who may be going through cancer now! and we will write their names along side our loved ones. </p><p></p><p>Blessings</p><p>Aron</p><p></p>

Remembering my grandfather who passed away when I was very little!! He wanted to see me grow and become a well educated and a successful women. But he went away battling cancer for 2 years. He died looking at me. He was great inspiration to me. Wish he had lived longer. Names: Raj

<p>A brief update... Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to this worthy cause - we are so excited that we have already reached our minimum goal of $3500! And we are just getting started! Paul and I are blown away by your generosity, thank you. Everything we raise above our target will contribute to the larger Cancer Council box rally target and support valuable cancer research.Last week Paul and I inspected the car, and given its age, it is in very good condition. We have a few minor things to fix in preparation for the trip including: suspensions, tyres and brakes. We are installing a CB radio so we can communicate with other cars in the rally. We also need to install&nbsp; a roof rack and a roof cage.As I’ve mentioned previously, Paul and I are covering all the costs associated with the car’s repairs, equipment etc ourselves. <p>Hi PazCar Fans,&nbsp;A few things have happened since my last Mystery Box Rally update.&nbsp;First, we reached and then exceeded our fundraising goal of $3,500. We are now at $4,000! Thank you all so much for supporting us and contributing to the cause. It has been amazing to see how generous and caring you are, and to hear your stories about how cancer has impacted each of you. Thank you!&nbsp;Second, thank you Mark Bendeli for creating our PAZCAR Logo (Attached). I am very grateful for his skills and time, and I’m pleased to share that our logo has been authorised by Cancer Council for use in the rally. So next steps are to make some stickers for the car, and team t-shirts ?! More on that soon.&nbsp;I also want to thank those who have provided goods to support the trip, like my Dad who has provided a 12v to 240v converter. This will allow us to run some of the technology we need for video uploads (hopefully, as videos on the go are more complex than I initially expected). Also thanks to my father-in-law for donating a haul of his raw honey for us to sell to raise funds for the rally. If you would like to buy some, let me know, they are 500g and $8 each.&nbsp;Paul has been working on sourcing manufacturing sponsors for some of the parts we need for the car like breaks, suspension and tyres. This will help us keep our out-of-pocket costs to a minimum and ensure we have a safe trip.&nbsp;Paul and I have also bought our tents and tried them out. We chose one man swag tents that take about 5minutes to setup. In Memory of Errol Samuel, a wonderful friend and fantastic neighbour of 40 years taken from his family and friends much too early after a courageous battle. He will be sorely missed by all. Alec & Louise Bendeli

Good luck and be safe! We would like to remember all those close to us who have suffered due to cancer - either having cancer themselves and/or being close to someone who has. Too many people are physically affected or taken from us prematurely due to cancer. There has been good progress in identifying and treating cancer and implementing preventative measures but we have all seen that more needs to be done so that we can spend more time with our loved ones. Congratulations on supporting a worthy cause.

<p>Hi All,</p><p></p><p>We are mere days away from our exciting adventure. In the Greek tradition we have 'Name Days' it's a custom to specially celebrate your (holy) name day instead of, or besides, your birthday. This way we all celebrate together. Today was an unusual version of a name day where we had the honor and pleasure of putting names of those who are battling, who we have loved and lost and those impacted by cancer onto our car. </p><p></p><p>I am humbled by the support of all of you and looking forward to sharing the lives of our loved ones.</p><p></p><p>We will be updating our trip and sharing pictures and adventures at https://trackmytour.com/MCNfx </p><p></p><p>Joins us there. I would love to donate in loving memory of my mom Lolita Abadilla Tamang and auntie Editha Medina who passed due to cancer. I am praying that with this small amount God could use good people to save more lives or even eradicate cancer.
